Working in radio for Southern Cross Austereo, Johnny has gained experience across a variety of roles, from producing, podcasting, promotions, Triple M Footy broadcast assistant, and covering the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup collecting voxpops in the Mixed Zone.

He currently hosts the Official Podcast for the South Australian Amateur Soccer Association (SAASL), available on their channels, and his own TV Show, THE LOCAL GAME, on Channel 44. His past podcast projects include KICKIN' IT LOCAL and LOCAL LEGENDS, which was exclusive to the LiSTNR App. On-screen, he continues to host Football South Australia's Grand Final pregame show broadcasts.

During his time at Triple M, Johnny also produced podcasts for Adelaide United, including a three-part Women's World Cup Podcast, and co-hosted The Real Football Show with Triple M's Chris Dittmar, football journalist Val Migliaccio, and Chilean Women's National Team Footballer María José Rojas.
